| The world's biggest software and hardware company is currently looking for WEB CONTENT MANGER.
Up-to-date, easy to navigate, intriguing, connected and localized web site for MS Server products.
Manage the content, structure, and content delivery methods on web site. Work closely with all content owners (Product Managers, Specialists and Audience Marketing Managers) to help them achieve or surpass their goals regarding the messages and audience they need to convey and target.
The Web Content Manager shares with content owners his or her expertise on how to best deliver content by efficient and effect use of friendly and intuitive user interface techniques (minimizing clicks etc). At the same time the person will have to be able to understand the content and to make potential corrections and logical links between projects and pages.
He or she will develop and drive a plan in cooperation with content owners to keep Server Web content and links current as well as a process for the removal of unused content and links.
The Web Content Manager also works closely with vendors on content related issues such as text localization and web page layout and menu and linking issues.
Requirements:
General Skills / Experience
1. Strong understanding of Web content, navigation and layout
2. Good technical understanding of web site and web page construction
3. Strong knowledge of layout, structure and visual aspects and usability – Good Design Sense
4. Understanding of MS server technologies
5. The person for this positions needs to have some technical knowledge (understanding of html and graphic types, etc), and to be logical regarding the delivery of content to site users in accordance with the goals the content owners seek to achieve
6. Communicative and able to work comfortably in a team. Good character and positive attitude. The Web Content Manger will work closely with an ever growing number of content owners who need a responsive and pleasant person to collaborate with
7. Languages: Russian – native, English - fluent
Technical skills
• Good understanding of Blogs, Forums, RSS, Smart Components, etc.
• Knowledge of html and web page and web site construction
General Responsibilities
Management of Web site content:
• Work with Product Managers to add and update content and sections
• Maintenance of existing content – updating, removing as necessary
• Proactive proposal of content/structure update
• Monitoring of content to keep it current (system to achieve this)
• Advice to department managers (content owners) regarding all web content issues
• Continual optimization of web site navigation, menus, layout, text, usability
• Employing new navigation and content related ideas and techniques and interactive and automated content delivery technologies (RSS, etc)
• Work with vendors when necessary on content related issues
• Support of business projects and marketing campaigns by delivering the web component
