| Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Central Operations Manager
Key Tasks:
· Customize, develop, test and implement tools to assist on the service delivery and service support activities of the Olympic Games Operations.
· Maintain and support the tools customization and development throughout the project.
· Prepare, document and perform integration and fail-over test for the tools.
· Produce the software technical design and specifications in a proper way to ensure tools are transferable from one project to another.
· Lead User Acceptance Test with involved teams.
· Perform trouble shooting/resolution as needed.
· Provide guidance to team members in the correct use of the tool.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
· Three years experience in JAVA, PHP and C++
· Good knowledge of SQL and MySQL databases.
· Good knowledge of VBA, VB and VB Script.
· Good knowledge of web platforms.
· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Ability to understand final user business requirements and translate to system customizations
· Highly self motivated.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to prioritize.
· Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
· Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Fluent in English.
The successful candidate to be based in Barcelona for training and development work until mid 2011. Therefore the candidate will need to be eligible to work abroad and have all the appropriate travel documentation (passport etc).
This position will be initially based in Moscow and will be at a later date relocated to Sochi until the conclusion of the project/contract - Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014
